What is coaching?

The International Coach Federation defines coaching as an ongoing partnership that helps clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. “Coaching is the most potent tool for inducing positive personal change, ensuring better-than-average odds for success, and making the change stick for longer term.” According to an ICF survey, 98.5% of coaching clients said their investment in coaching was more than worth the money.

What can you expect from Becky’s coaching?

My coaching is based on the fact that within each of us dwells creativity and resourcefulness. My clients are encouraged to make new observations and empowered to find creative solutions. I create an environment that allows new perspectives, clarity and action. Hope is infused in seemingly impossible or overwhelming situations.

I assist my clients in discovering and aligning life to their unique values. I help them identify self-defeating beliefs and create a space to powerfully create their own vision for reaching goals. My clients deepen their learning, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life. Their progress is accelerated by providing greater focus, revealing blind spots, and creating choice that leads to action.

I bring empathy, respect and provide a safe, challenging and creative atmosphere. Clients value my tenacity to keep them accountable and my acknowledgement and celebration of their growth. Supportive, compassionate, wise, helpful, insightful, inspiring, celebratory, understanding, safe…these are the words used by clients to describe my coaching relationship with them.

My coaching is:

How is coaching done?

  • By phone or skype.

“How long is a session? What about between appointments?”

That’s up to you. You can take as much time between coaching sessions to be intentional about your goals. Because they are ‘real time’ goals, there will be many opportunities to put them into play through your daily activity. You’ll find it will be well worth it. Each coaching appointment is 45 minutes to an hour.
